1. A sound mind
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
God is never the author of fear, Satan is. In fact, Fear occurs as a result of shifting your gaze from God to your problem. Once this shift in focus occurs, we become overwhelmed, and scared, and we panic.
So any time you are fearful, ensure you make the following declarations
- I do not have the spirit of fear
- Sound mind is what I have
- I have the spirit of love
- The power to overcome life challenges has been given to me. Hallelujah! Amen
2. You cannot be moved
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early Psalms 46:5

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Isaiah 41:13
Fear makes us panic and react in ways that are detrimental to our wellbeing because of the lack of information or knowledge about something- but this bible scripture on overcoming fear says Irrespective of whatever situation we find ourselves God is always with us.

Rest is what we get when we cast all our worries and fears on Christ.

About a few weeks ago, I found myself doubting the love of God for me, I was so overwhelmed that I began to lose focus and started to say a lot of ‘not so nice things to God’
I later decided that I was going to call a friend {You really need Godly friends, they bring us back to our senses} which I did. My friend reminded me of the promises in God’s word. He told me God loves me which I truly know but never did comprehend.
I still did not feel better even after conversing with him, the last word he said to me was that ‘I should meditate on God’s love’ (Meditation is a very important aspect of Christian lives, it brings us back to focus whenever we are offshore)
As I made dinner, I heard the Lord whisper to me ‘He said I love you, I said I know’ He said do you know that my love is sufficient for you. I was totally broken at this point because while I know about God’s love for me, I have never really been able to comprehend it.
To know and fully understand God’s love for you is to understand the price he paid just so that you will look exactly like his expressed image. You are made perfect in his love. His love has perfected all that concerns us.
