While a lot of people think that to speak things into existence is erroneous, I have my reservations about that and I will elaborate more on my reservations as we progress in this post.
However, To speak something into existence is to have captured how that thing is supposed to be or go in your mind and then speak the realities into life via God’s word.
Let’s see it this way, You are an artist, someone brings a picture of their loved one to you wanting you to represent the picture on paper. What will you do? At first, You try to assimilate the picture, how it should be and how it should look on paper, then you begin to draw.
Another way to see this is when you have an idea drop in your heart, what you do at first is to interpret this idea in your brain, after which you begin to think about how to bring this vision or idea into reality, this is what it means to speak something into existence.
Also, we are a new creation, created in the image of God, we are God’s representative upon the earth, hence we have God’s given ability in us. we can call those things which be not as though they were.

Can we speak things into existence?
Have you ever wondered how Adam was able to name those animals? Well, it seems to me that he could look into God’s picture of what names were befitting for those animals. My idea!
Now to the question of whether or not we can speak things into life? My answer is Yes. But I have got some salient points to back up my statement.
First off, to be able to speak things into existence, you must understand that you are a new creation man created in the image of God. You can change things around you, you can create things.
How do we explain a man with an amputated leg who got a new leg just because a Son of God prayed with him? How do we explain the story of Joshua that commanded the sun to stand still and it stood? The moment you accepted Christ, a new nature, a person was birthed.

The new man that was birthed is the one to represent God on the earth, God’s agenda before the fall was that the earth should be under the rule of man.
Man was to address everything that goes wrong here as God. To be an image of something means a replica of that image. Believers are called to show forth the person of God, he resides within us, and so the more we look within, the more his person is made manifest in us and through us.

Words are powerful
The words you speak to yourself as well as the thought that flips through your mind daily, can make or mar you. Scripture in Proverbs 18:21 says that “Life and death are in the tongue”.
You become what you tell yourself daily. If you speak a lot of negativity into your life, it won’t be farfetched if negativity is the only thing that flows from you.
Additionally, I am sure that you have been encouraged one way or the other by someone who showed up at the most difficult period of your life, their words conveyed joy, peace, assurance, life, and hope. You were on your feet and it looked as though you have never been faced with challenges.
Words carry life, such that when they are spoken you begin to see the realities play out in your life. even the world was created by God’s word, this shows how weighty words can be.
Speaking things into existence, a misconception
To explain this, let’s take a look at what the scripture in Romans 4:17 says:
As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
When someone has cancer and is cured, does that not tally with calling into being things that were not? or when someone who has a part of the body amputated or missing due to an accident gets healed and the missing part is creatively restored, is that not calling those things which be not as though they were.
Frankly speaking, Most Believers have misrepresented God either because they have not come into an understanding of who they are or because of negligence.
We were chosen to represent God on the earth not the other way round. Believers should rise and take the rightful place God has restored them to In Christ.
Now, don’t get me wrong, for our words to come into existence, they must be in alignment with God’s will.
Is it God’s will for you to be healed? Yes. similarly, It is his will for you to be rich, and have the good things in life. so decree that word today.
What should we do now?
It’s simple, look out for scriptures that talk about what you desire to manifest, meditate on them, then begin to declare them into your life.
If you are sick, say to your body “by his stripes, I am healed” Jesus passed through the most terrible experience no one has ever gone through in the world. He bore our sins and sicknesses, and he went into the dark places so we can live a life of freedom.
God desires that believers are healthy, rich, and enjoy the goodies of life. so speak LIFE, SPEAK THINGS INTO EXISTENCE TILL THERE IS A MANIFESTATION.
YOU ARE GOD’S SPOKE PERSON ON THE EARTH. DON’T BE SILENT
