How to be saved

How do you know if you are saved? How can I be saved? These questions and more will be answered in this blog post. There is no need to live in spiritual darkness because Jesus wants everyone to come into His light. Salvation is available for all who call on the name of the Lord, repenting from their sinful ways and trusting Him for forgiveness.

Let me share my personal experience, I got saved a few years ago and I can boldly say that it’s one of the most beautiful experience that has changed the course of my life.

I have come to an understanding of the God life, and one thing I have discovered is that the believers experience isn’t a boring one.

God is so interested in us coming into the consciousness of what his Son did. A lot of people have gotten to the finish line and they don’t know where they are headed, they are fearful, scared of what the future holds.

Christ gives life, he gives your life a definite meaning. A man that is not saved is is dead man, it is upon salvation that he receives life.

When you are saved, God takes over your life in totality. You begin to experience love like never before because the bible says that perfect love drives out fear (I John).

You can’t be scared of what tomorrow holds when you know Jesus Christ at all times; he is always with us and has given us everything we need for this journey.

How do I get saved?

How-To-Become-Saved

Want to be saved and you don’t know how to get started? Let me walk you through it.

First, let’s define what salvation is all about; according to the bible, Salvation is deliverance from sin and eternal damnation (Matthew 25:41). It also means freedom of slavery or redemption of one who has been wronged by another person or entity. You are saved when Jesus takes over your life.

You were once in the kingdom of darkness, but upon salvation, you were translated into light. An exchange occur. You received a new life

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

You were a dead man in sin, Christ gave you life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

How to become saved

1. Understand that Jesus is the only source of salvation

I have heard a lot of controversy regarding this matter and I will want to clarify the issue.

In the old covenant, the blood of animals could only temporarily cover sins. The Old Testament states that the people were not able to be made perfect by those sacrifices

Jesus is our final and ultimate sacrifice for sin, so we can live with God again as an everlasting covenant. He is the only source of salvation. 1 John 1:7

2. Know that you need salvation

Every man born into the world is a sinner automatically, because of Adam’s sin, which was passed on to all men Romans chapter five.

His nature was changed. He became corruptible and passed that same nature to sons born in his order.

I sincerely, believe that creation existed in adam, so upon the fall, creation fell along side.

By nature, every man that has bot accepted the God life has the adamic nature. Christ is the cure for that nature. Salvation is what everyone needs.

Salvation is only found in Christ.

The bible tells us that God created man upright Romans chapter five, verse eighteen, but through the temptation of satan he fell into sin and became sinful.

3. Believe that Christ died for you

Another factor on how to get saved is to believe that Christ died for you. Christ died for all of mankind. Christ blood is the remission for sins forever. If there is another dispensation that should come after this, it is still via Christ that they will be saved. He was sacrificed once and forever remains the mediator of the new covenant.

4. Accept and confess Your sins

The third step to follow on how to become saved is for you to accept and confess your sins. Sin has dominion over all men, this means even those who are yet unborn. There must be a confession of sin, the reason is to acknowledge the blood of Christ as supreme over your sins. God’s word says that if you are not willing to acknowledge your sins, there is no place for Christ in your life.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
